John,

Today I joined the Montana State University College Democrats for their annual Catapalooza voter registration drive on the MSU Campus.

Elections are far too often focused on those who already have a say in government. They use this power to write the rules for themselves, often without regard for the next generation of Montanans.

That’s why it’s important we listen and take younger voices seriously—and why it’s important we support younger Montanans who want to get involved, to vote, or grab a clipboard and start organizing for the change we want to see in our state.

Should young people be involved in politics? Yes. They live with the consequences of the decisions we make now.

Our campaign is about building a movement across Montana for everyone who wants to see the Attorney General’s Office work for us again -- not for big donors or out-of-state corporations.

We are traveling the state with the message that we don’t need to settle for the world as it is.

We can take on the big fights that have kept wages low, prevented businesses from growing, and stolen opportunity away from younger generations.

We can take on these fights and win.

Today, just as I did, reach out to someone and ask if they are registered to vote. If they aren’t, they can fill out the application online HERE ([link removed]) and send it to their county elections office.

The 2020 elections are about making sure every Montanan, young and old, has the opportunity to live a healthy and prosperous life.

I want to make sure the Attorney General works for us to ensure that opportunity.

Sincerely,

-Raph Graybill
