EMERGENCY ACTION ALERT FOR WEDNESDAY AUGUST 20, 10:00 AM
The Democrats are back, and the House will convene at 10 AM this morning, to take up HB4, the Redistricting Bill. Both the House and Senate versions target 5 Congressional Districts to be re-drawn to favor Republicans instead of Democrats.
If we can have 5, why not have more? The Governor originally said there were up to 10 districts that could be re-drawn, so let's go for it!
Please call your State Representative's Office RIGHT NOW, and urge them to go for 10 districts redrawn instead of 5.
If you have your rep's cell number, text them. If not, find their office numbers in this House Directory. Phone calls or texts are needed for this one. Emails will take too long to be seen.
Don't know who your representative is? Find out at this link who represents you. Just put in your address and it will list all reps for your area. You need the State House Representatives.
