Donald Trump has just announced his intention to end mail-in voting across the
country. He’s calling it “fraudulent” and vowing to eliminate it before the
2026 elections.

Let’s be clear: this is not about election security. It’s about silencing
voters. Seniors, military families, people with disabilities, working parents —
millions of Americans rely on mail-in ballots to make their voices heard. Trump
knows that. That’s why he’s trying to take it away.

I have always believed that our democracy is strongest when more people
participate, not fewer. Mail-in voting is secure, accessible, and essential to
ensuring every eligible voter has a fair chance to cast their ballot.

We cannot let Trump and his Republican allies succeed in this dangerous attack
on our democracy.
