I’ll never forget when I first heard the news.
“Laken Riley. 22 years old. Murdered by an illegal alien.”
The words hit like a freight train, but the details haunt me.
In 2024, 22-year-old college student Laken Riley was viciously attacked by a Venezuelan illegal immigrant with multiple previous arrests in my home state of Georgia.
She fought bravely for 17 minutes before she was murdered.
Laken Riley had her whole life ahead of her. It was cut short by someone who never should’ve been here in the first place.
From the moment I heard the news, I refused to allow Laken’s death to be forgotten.
I refused to allow more Americans to continue to SUFFER from Radical Left open-border policies.
I refused to let Joe Biden and the Democrats get away with this.
So I spoke with Laken’s family and swore I’d fight like hell to make sure no other parents have to endure the same tragedy.
That’s why I wrote the Laken Riley Act to prevent illegal immigrant criminals from continuing to roam our streets.
In the first month of his second term, President Trump signed the Laken Riley Act into law, permanently enshrining her legacy.
It was one of the proudest days of my life.
When I announced my campaign for Senate, I spoke with Laken’s family again to let them know one thing.
Their gut-wrenching loss can never be forgotten, and I’ll continue to fight to make sure it never happens again.
Out of the kindness of their hearts, they chose to endorse my campaign for Senate against Jon Ossoff.
If Joe Biden, Jon Ossoff, and the Democrats had done their job to protect Americans, Laken Riley would still be with us.
If I lose and the Democrats take control of the Senate, nothing is stopping them from repealing the Laken Riley Act.
I CANNOT fail my promise to Laken’s family.
Please, I humbly ask for your support for my campaign to permanently put an end to the Radical Left policies that are killing young Americans like Laken Riley.
