I am honored to announce that I have earned the endorsement of the Democratic Veterans Caucus of Florida. This is a tremendous distinction that I do not take lightly.
Veterans have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, and as your representative, I will continue doing everything in my power to guarantee that they receive every benefit they are entitled to. I will also work to ensure that Veterans Affairs hospitals have the best resources to provide veterans with the exceptional care that they deserve.
I believe that it is our government’s responsibility to serve those who have served us, which is why we have consistently supported legislation to uplift veterans and their families, hosted multiple veterans’ town halls, cut through red tape to secure health care and other earned benefits for numerous veteran constituents, recorded local veteran stories for the US Archives WWII Project, and obtained medals never awarded and long overdue for many Central Florida veterans while in Congress.
I am proud of what we have done during my first two terms, but I recognize that none of our accomplishments would be possible without your support.
