The other day, I saw a poll showing Democrats are less popular than at any point in the last 30 years. 63% of voters hold an unfavorable view of our party.

Let’s just say it: the Democratic Party has completely failed at messaging. Our policies are great, but it doesn’t matter one bit if voters don’t hear about them.

We’ve let Trump and his allies dominate the airwaves, social media, and headlines. He’s everywhere. And yet when democrats try to respond it’s too quiet, too jumbled and too late. How do we expect to win when voters hear nothing from us?

I truly believe our Democratic values are worth fighting for. We can’t be scared to yell them from the rooftops! We need our message everywhere - on Fox News, on social media, on Spanish radio! We can’t be afraid to push back.

I wish more politicians had the courage to actually say it like it is.

That’s what I’m committed to doing. But I can’t do it alone. Will you chip in $5 so we can fight back and do our part here in California’s 9th district?
