In March, Trump signed an executive order attempting to strip nearly one million federal workers of their right to collectively bargain. According to the AFL-CIO, the order was the single biggest act of union-busting in American history.

We've been supporting federal workers who speak out and refuse to follow unlawful orders for months, but if those workers can just be fired then its much harder to for people to speak out or refuse to cooperate with the regime. Trump wants to stack the government with unqualified political loyalists – and we're all feeling the impacts: From missed Social Security checks, to long lines at the VA, to rollbacks of climate science and attacks on the rule of law by the Department of Justice.

There's a bill in Congress that would help protect federal workers and stop Trump's fossil fueled fascist regime. It's called the Protect America’s Workforce Act – and because there are federal workers in every Congressional district, it's got the votes to pass. But MAGA leadership in the Congress has prevented it from coming up for a vote, so far.

Stand with federal workers to fight fossil fueled fascism: Tell your member of Congress to bring the Protect America’s Workforce Act to the floor, now. And then, join union allies in the streets this Labor Day to declare Workers over Billionaires!

The Protect America's Workforce Act would overturn Trump’s executive order and restore collective bargaining rights to federal workers. Democrats in the house have filed something called a discharge petition, which would allow the bill to bypass committees and come directly to the floor for a vote.

We need every member of Congress, regardless of party to sign the discharge petition to get the bill on the House floor as soon as Congress returns from recess on September 2. The working people who keep America running, including the veterans who make up a third of the federal workforce, need a union to protect them—and we need those federal workers to help us resist the Trump regime and stop the rule of fossil fueled fascism. That's why thousands of us have signed up to support hundreds of events on Labor Day, September 1, this year.

Tell Congress: Sign the discharge petition and bring the Protect America’s Workforce Act to the floor for a vote.
