This summer, I was so fortunate to welcome my second grandchild into the family.

And I’ve got to tell you something: The saying about “what kind of world are we leaving for our grandkids”... It’s something I think a lot about.

I think about the critical investments in climate science and clean energy Republicans voted away in their Big, Ugly Bill – and the state of the environment our kids will inherit.

About how the next generation of families will have less access to health care than my family did.

About the unfair tax system where billionaires don’t pay their fair share and everyday Americans make up the difference.

Frankly, that’s just the beginning of the mess the Trump administration and Senate Republicans are making.

Virginia’s kids deserve better.

I fight like heck every day in the Senate to push back against this dangerous agenda, find real solutions to make our communities safer and stronger, and give every child in Virginia and our country a fair shot. Because that’s what my grandkids – and all Americans – deserve.

And I’m grateful to have committed grassroots supporters like you fighting alongside me. We’ve got a long road ahead of us and a pretty consequential election coming up next year. So I have to ask, if you’re able to, will you donate to my reelection campaign, so we can keep up the fight for our children and grandchildren’s future?
