John, I have to be honest.
After reviewing the past few days of fundraising, we’re still behind on our fundraising goal and we need to pick up the pace.
Thankfully, we still have time to get back on track. If we receive 3 more donations from xxxxxx, we'll be on track to hit our goal by our fundraising deadline.
This journey of working towards dismantling the longstanding history of racial injustices in our criminal systems has never been an easy one. Every day, we face new roadblocks from elected officials whose goals are to maintain and reinforce the systems that have disenfranchised poor and minority communities for too long.
No matter the obstacles placed in our way, we will not rest until every person feels truly safe and protected in their communities. But our team of fearless advocates and leaders need the resources to continue doing this hard work.
I realize that we’re all experiencing difficult times but I want to remind you that no donation is too small. Every dollar you contribute will make a huge difference in supporting communities in need with the help of our work.
