This past weekend, I sat down with the MD Association of Counties for a discussion about our economy and building a more affordable Maryland.

While this fireside chat was a highlight of the conference, my team and I loved connecting with hundreds of Marylanders who all converged on Ocean City for another important MACO Conference.

Attending events like this conference is one of the many ways I stay connected to the people and challenges across our state. Whether I’m joining community conversations, meeting with local leaders, or learning how other leaders are tackling similar issues, I’m always looking for ideas we can bring back to better serve Marylanders.

One of my core priorities is reimagining how we use our resources and expertise to make a meaningful impact on Maryland families, communities, and businesses. I’m taking every opportunity to listen, learn, and prepare, so we can help build a more resilient and equitable future for everyone who calls Maryland home.
