This is one of the highlights of the summer:

The Illinois State Fair just wrapped up this year’s events. Thousands of Illinoisans came to Springfield to enjoy ten days of fun – from entertainment, to fairground rides, and the famous cow constructed from 500 pounds of butter!

I had a blast walking in the Twilight Parade to kick off the festivities.

I may be biased, but our state fair is the best in the country. It’s a showcase of Illinois’ world-class agriculture and innovation that moves us forward.

But the reality is that right now, our local farmers are struggling to make ends meet. This administration is putting billionaires first while those who put our food on the table are left behind.

I’m fired up to return to Washington and advocate for our farmers and all working families in Central and Southern Illinois. If you’re with me, $3 or any amount will keep me in Congress fighting for IL-13.

Thank you,

Nikki
