Donald Trump just announced he wants to eliminate mail-in voting before next year’s midterm elections, and he’s pledging to sign an executive order to do it.

That’s not just extreme. It’s dangerous.

Here in California, registered voters rely on voting by mail to make their voices heard. In communities like mine, where voters speak multiple languages and work long hours, mail-in voting isn’t a luxury – it’s essential.

Trump knows that. That’s why he’s trying to take it away and boost the chances of Republicans maintaining power in the House.
