If you liked Joe Lieberman undermining Democrats, you'll love Josh
Gottheimer and Jon Hickenlooper in the House and Senate.

[ [link removed] ]Or, you can donate $2 to their progressive opponents.

Hickenlooper.

We wanted to ask your help defeating two Joe Liebermans on the ballot soon
-- one running for House, one for Senate.

Joe Lieberman was one of the worst Democrats ever. Some Democrats
frustrate us by being weak or voting wrong occasionally -- Lieberman was
not that.

When Democratic leadership wanted to do the right thing, and most
conservative Dems were willing to go along, Lieberman was an Underminer In
Chief -- actively organizing conservatives to undermine Democratic
leadership.

[ [link removed] ]That's Josh Gottheimer in the House right now. And it will be Jon
Hickenlooper if he makes it to the Senate. If we win in 2020, they will
work to stop us from accomplishing good things. Can you donate $2 to their
progressive primary opponents right now?

You'd like more elaboration? Gladly!

First, let me vent about Joe Lieberman a little more...

He endorsed John McCain against Barack Obama.

Then, in the health care fight, we had a whopping 59 Democratic senators
willing to extend Medicare to Americans age 55 and over. Lieberman was the
60th vote we needed to win. Instead, he killed it. During this pandemic,
millions of people without health insurance would have had it...except Joe
Lieberman made them suffer.

Nancy Pelosi wanted to attach strings to a must-pass Defense spending bill
to stop Trump from caging kids at our borders. The new House Democratic
majority was about to do it. Then, Josh Gottheimer organized over a dozen
conservative Democrats and threatened to tank the bill. So, kids remain in
cages...suffering because of him.

Jon Hickenlooper is running for Senate in Colorado, a Democratic state
that just elected a pro-Medicare For All governor by double digits! But
Hickenlooper actively attacked Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and
Medicare For All when he ran for president (and lost fantastically).

He opposes a Green New Deal and supports fracking at a time our planet
can't afford more delay. And his major ethics scandal threatens our chance
to flip this seat.

[ [link removed] ]Please...we know you get asked for money a lot...but these two villains
will undermine everything else you donate to if we let them get to
Congress. Please donate $2 or more to their progressive opponents now.

Arati Kreibich is a progressive City Council woman running against Josh
Gottheimer in New Jersey. She once volunteered for him and even hosted an
event for him at her home. But he betrayed Democrats, so she's running
against him on July 7 on big ideas like a Green New Deal and Medicare for
All.

[ [link removed] ]Gottheimer won in 2018 by 14 points. Whomever wins the primary will
likely win the general election. Please do the right thing -- help Arati
win.

Andrew Romanoff is a former Colorado House speaker running on Medicare For
All, a Green New Deal, and other progressive priorities. He has called out
Hickenlooper's ethics scandal. He is endorsed by other progressive orgs
like the Sunrise Movement.

[ [link removed] ]If Romanoff wins the primary, he'll pick up this seat for Democrats in
the general -- helping us to win back the Senate. Please help him win!

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
