Texas Values helped lead the passage of the Texas Ten Commandments Law (SB 10) this legislative session, which by law, allows the Ten Commandments to be displayed in public school classrooms across Texas.
The Texas Ten Commandments Bill (SB 10) goes into effect on September 1! Some schools have already begun to receive posters!
Watch the Frisco news article on WFAA where Jonathan Covey, Director of Policy for Texas Values is interviewed on the topic.
So it’s up to the people of Texas to help implement this new law—and you can play a vital role. For the Ten Commandments to be displayed, the poster or framed copy must be donated to the school(s).
Visit our website txvalues.org/ten-commandments-texas and select the school(s) in your area, purchase posters by following a simple step-by-step guide to donate them to your local school and district. You can also volunteer to deliver posters to schools. Our goal is to distribute posters by Sept. 1!
If Texans across the state participate, we can ensure that the Ten Commandments are restored to every classroom in our great state.
We encourage you to involve your neighbors, church small group, or family in this important effort.
While adopting a school, please take a moment to mark "Texas Values" in the referral drop down menu so we can keep track of volunteer statistics!
