On August 21st, we are holding a virtual town hall with Rep. Robert Garcia and California Attorney General Rob Bonta.
Rep. Garcia is the new ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, meaning he is one of the top Democrats leading the fight in DC to hold Trump accountable. AG Bonta is fighting the same fight from California, suing the Trump administration twelve times in the last twelve weeks to hold him accountable each time he has violated the law.
They will be taking questions from everyday voters like you, John.
Our California Strong members aren’t afraid to face Californians and explain our policies and positions. Unlike Republicans, who have been encouraged to cancel their town halls and avoid their constituents. This is one of many town halls we have held this year, and we want to keep up the momentum. This event will provide an opportunity for information-sharing and crucial constituent Q&A. It’s these types of community-focused events that the California Democratic Party is honored to support and host.
