John – Republicans are privatizing Social Security because they believe their mega-donors are more important than you.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent just admitted that those so-called 'Trump accounts' they're hawking are actually a "backdoor to privatizing Social Security."

With DOGE butchering Social Security by firing staff, closing offices, and even shutting down the toll-free helpline, Republicans are intentionally creating a system designed to fail. They're doing it for one reason: to hand over massive tax breaks to ultra-rich friends and corporations.

I just introduced the Social Security Expansion Act – a commonsense way to protect your earned benefits from the Republican wrecking ball.

But simply keeping our existing system afloat isn't enough. We have to invest and expand .

My act funds Social Security for the next 75 years – and expands current benefits by an extra $2,400 per year – all by applying the Social Security payroll tax on all income above $250,000.

It's a simple fix – one we can easily make if we stop handing out tax giveaways to the ultra-wealthy.

Remember: Republicans' destruction will go as far as we let it, so stopping them right now will make all the difference. I need you fighting for Social Security with us. Chip in what you can before we hit the end of the month, and I'll see you out there. [[link removed]]
