Donald Trump's rally in Oklahoma confirmed what we already knew: This man is a threat to our country and a danger to our democracy.

Instead of speaking about healing and leading our country through this pandemic, Trump gave us a preview of what's to come from him in the remaining days of this election.

I know you do not need me to remind you, but I have to say it anyway: It could not be more clear how important our task of defeating Donald Trump is. We have to elect Vice President Joe Biden.

Defeating Trump will not be easy. He has spent years filling his war chest with millions of dollars to drown out any message that goes against him, so we have got to work twice as hard to compete, especially this week.

Tuesday is Joe Biden's most important fundraising deadline of the race so far, and he needs our help to show the incredible grassroots strength of this campaign. If you have $5 to spare today, will you pitch in before Joe's end-of-quarter deadline?

It's been a year since I endorsed Vice President Biden, and I will tell you why I was one of the first to do it -- I know Joe Biden.

I watched Joe stand alongside our first African-American president to lead our country and saw how he valued our communities.

I watched Joe work with President Obama to deliver the Affordable Care Act to help expand coverage for millions of Americans and protect people with pre-existing conditions.

I watched Joe lead the recovery efforts when our country was reeling from the 2008 economic crisis.

I know that Joe has the compassion and empathy to meet this important moment in our nation's history -- when we need healing and leadership more than anything.

I know we have a long and difficult journey ahead of us, but we have to give this fight everything we have got.

We know who Joe Biden is, just like we know who Donald Trump is -- and we know we can not miss our chance to make sure Joe beats him. So I have to ask you again before you close this email.
