The countdown is on. There’s only ONE more week to go before Iowa’s fourth special election in 2025!

I’ll explain more in a minute, but if you don’t have the time, will you chip in a split donation between IDP and Democrat Catelin Drey’s campaign to help us flip SD-01 next Tuesday?

It’s been quite a year for Iowa Democrats and special elections, and it’s not over yet!

In all three special elections that we’ve had so far, Democrats overperformed by 25 points — we even gained a few seats in the state legislature!

Next Tuesday is yet another chance to prove that Iowans are fed up with failed leadership. We can all but confirm that Republicans are vulnerable, and Democrats are on the road to victory in 2026.

However, the turnaround time with special elections is quick. Catelin hasn’t had a ton of time to organize in SD-01 before Election Day, so we’ve got to do all that we can to help her.
