Derek Dooley here. As you already know… I'm not a politician.

I've spent most of my life on the football field, not the campaign trail.

And truth be told, I never even planned on becoming a coach.

After practicing law, I felt a fire in my belly to do something different. Something that made a real difference in people's lives.

Not chasing titles or headlines… just showing up, working hard, and giving back to people.

That's what led me to coaching.

For over 30 years, I had the privilege of building teams, leading young men, and helping them believe in themselves.

I wore a lot of hats over those years:

6 years as a head coach.
9 years in the NFL.
9 years under Nick Saban (some folks say surviving that was my biggest accomplishment!)

But at the heart of it all, my passion was to lead people and make a positive impact in their lives.

Bringing them together. Building something bigger than ourselves. And always encouraging them to be the best version of themselves.

Now I'm stepping up again — but this time, we're taking the fight to Washington, D.C.

I'm running for U.S. Senate because Georgia needs a fighter who knows how to lead… not another professional politician chasing their next promotion in Washington.
