John -- can you make a $5 contribution to our people-powered campaign?

Sorry to be so blunt, but our June FEC fundraising deadline is on Tuesday at midnight and we need a last-minute push to hit our 75,000 donation goal.

As of this morning, we still have some work to do, but we're confident that with your support we can hit this goal.

We're rejecting corporate PAC money, so that means $5 donations like this are what keep our campaign running.

So as we approach our public FEC fundraising deadline on Tuesday, we have to ask:

If you are able, will you make a $5 donation to our people-powered campaign? The amount isn't as important as the donation itself because it's going to take a lot of people chipping in a few bucks at a time to help us reach our 75,000 donation goal.

When we close the books on this public filing deadline, we hope it'll show that we have tens of thousands of people supporting us.

What we do in the next few days will set the tone for what we will be able to accomplish leading up to election day.
