Marriage equality is on the line—this is the first test

The far right is pushing the Supreme Court to overturn Obergefell v. Hodges —
the 2015 decision that guaranteed same-sex couples the right to marry
nationwide. If they succeed, marriage equality will disappear in many states
overnight, and extremists will push to erase other protections for LGBTQ people.

Their first proving ground? Virginia, 2025.

Virginia is one of only two statewide elections in the country this year — and
the only battleground state holding contested elections before the 2026
midterms. Republicans want to use a win here to prove their anti-equality agenda
can win anywhere. If they succeed, they’ll take the same playbook to your
state.

If we win in Virginia, we break their momentum and show the nation that voters
will defend equality.

Frontline Virginia is mobilizing voters, fighting disinformation, and building
the firewall — but we need allies across the country to join in.

Chip in what you can today to help.

If they can take away rights here, they can do it anywhere.

We can’t afford to let “in the bag” become another costly mistake.
