In recent weeks, more than 1000 starving people have been killed
desperately trying to access aid in Gaza. Twenty more died in a stampede
just days ago – desperate families crushed while trying to get food.
Who’s behind this disaster? A shadowy new group called the Gaza
Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) – a so-called “aid” operation backed by the
US and Israeli governments. This isn’t just a humanitarian failure – it’s
a scandal.
The United Nations and other respected humanitarian organizations have
raised the alarm, but right now, the public is in the dark. And together
we are going to change that.
Ekō is ready to launch an urgent campaign to blow the lid off the GHF’s
secretive operations – investigating who is profiting, how the aid is
being weaponised, and who is responsible. Together, we could expose the
role of US security contractors, flood the media with the truth, and
mobilise massive public pressure to shut this operation down before more
people die.

The GHF was quietly launched in May with the support of the US and Israeli
governments. The group, which had no experience distributing food in
conflict zones, uses US mercenaries at militarised hubs, claiming it will
“streamline” aid to Gaza.
Instead, American military contractors and Israeli forces have continually
opened fire into desperate crowds of hungry families in chaotic scenes
that the UN has described as “death traps”.
The UN and countless aid groups have boycotted GHF and demanded it halt
operations, saying the group is violating core humanitarian principles,
bypassing neutral aid agencies.
Yet new reports indicate the US is planning to send another $500 million
of aid via GHF. It feels like a militarisation and politicisation of
political aid, while the people of Gaza starve. We have to do something to
stop it.
Ekō is already lining up investigators, journalists, and legal experts to
dig into the GHF’s secret deals, expose their ties to military
contractors, and confront the governments behind this deadly scheme. But
investigations like this take time and resources – and we can’t do it
without you.
