Trump’s Big Ugly Bill is now law — and the fact is, most Americans wish it wasn’t.

According to Pew Research, way more Americans opposed the legislation (49%) than supported it (29%), and “most Americans are doubtful they would benefit from the bill.” In fact, I think it’s the worst polling I’ve ever seen on a bill!

Turns out, people don't like having health care stripped away, or food assistance slashed, or climate progress reversed, or massive tax cuts that primarily benefit the wealthy.

So, what do these folks do after they passed such a deeply unpopular bill? Of course, pick up the pen and start: gerrymandering!

That’s why our work today is so important. By stopping a new, extreme gerrymander in Texas, by fighting to defend Black and Latino opportunity districts, by supporting pro-democracy candidates — this is how we undo the damage that’s being done by this Congress and start to fix the country we love.
