Our nation's public lands are one of our most treasured resources, and these outdoor spaces belong to every one of us. Yet, again and again, the Trump admin has tried to cut funding and give away OUR public lands to the corporate polluters who paid to elect him.
That's why, in celebration of the Aug 25 founding of the National Park Service, we'll be taking action together to protect national parks and other outdoor spaces.
Join this month's Virtual Action Hour on Tuesday, Aug 26th, to hear the latest updates on threats to public lands and learn how we can take effective action to protect them. [link removed]

Dear Friend,
The National Park Service was founded on August 25, 1916. For 109 years, these parks have provided us with open space for recreation as well as clean water and habitats for plants and animals. They connect us to our history and culture. They provide our families with opportunities to get outside with one another and create lifelong memories.
That's why, for August's Virtual Action Hour, we'll come together to fight for legislation that will protect these cherished resources, learn how staff shortages and other cuts are harming public lands, and take action to protect people and the outdoors.
