Hey team, it’s Courtney Weisman, legal counsel for the Democratic Governors Association and I’m reaching out to you with a brief, but important message:

In court, Donald Trump is losing more cases than he’s winning – and it’s no wonder why. He’s shamelessly attempting to violate the law and undermine our Constitution.

That’s why, after he attempted to unilaterally disenfranchise millions of voters and hand power to election deniers through a single Executive Order, we filed a federal lawsuit challenging his attempt to undermine democracy.

The DGA is not backing down from Donald Trump’s attacks, and thankfully, Democratic governors are leading those fights, suing the Trump administration in defense of our fundamental rights – and winning time and again.

But this won’t be the president’s last assault on our democracy – not by a longshot.

So today, I'm asking personally: Team, will you chip in $3, $6, or whatever you can right now to help support the DGA’s work as we hold Trump accountable? This grassroots team can help elect and re-elect Democratic governors who will fight back against Republican attacks on our voting rights, and strengthen our democracy.

Donald Trump is not above the law. So there’s no sitting on the sidelines now.
