Last week, major flooding hit Southeast Wisconsin, including Milwaukee County and other portions of the 1st Congressional District.
This disaster has had a significant impact on families in our community, including property damage, loss of power, and families being displaced from their homes.
Last Sunday, I reached out to the White House and FEMA to request assistance in responding to this disaster. I also wroteto HHS Secretary Kristi Noem requesting her assistance expediting this request.
I will continue to advocate for our community to receive all available resources to recover from this disaster.
