I spent over 30 years serving this country—as a fighter pilot, a colonel in the U.S. Air Force, and as a NASA astronaut. I never imagined I’d see the day when uniformed American soldiers would be forced to kneel to roll out a red carpet for Vladimir Putin.

But that’s what happened when Trump met with Putin in Alaska.

This is the character of the Trump administration: Prostrating American troops for a war criminal. Elevating tyrants while humiliating the very people who’ve sworn to defend this nation from people like Vladimir Putin.

I didn’t serve this country to watch our military be turned into props for a Russian dictator. And I’m not going to stand by while it happens.

That’s why I’m running for Senate.

Because we need people in office who understand what honor, duty, and leadership actually mean. We need people who will fight to protect our democracy and defend the Constitution, not kneel before those who want to destroy it.

But if we’re going to stop this administration and take back our dignity, we have to win here in Texas—there is no other option.
