I’m sick of politicians promising us one thing in order to get elected, and then flip-flopping once they get to Washington to appease party leaders.

That’s exactly what Gabe Evans did when he voted to gut Medicaid. He backed a bill that would kick nearly 30,000 people in our area off of their health care.

Now, he’s trying to cover his tracks and claim he supports Medicaid – but actions speak louder than words. We know the truth: when it came down to it, he sided with Donald Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson to gut it.

I’m running for Congress because I’ve had enough of the dangerous political games that have real consequences for Colorado families.

In the State Legislature, I’ve fought hard to expand access to health care by reducing costs for working families and standing up to extremists. That’s exactly what I’ll do in Congress, too.
