Donald Trump announced the deployment of the National Guard into DC — not to protect people, but as a political stunt.
This isn’t leadership. It’s a dangerous use of our military to stoke his own ego.
I served this country as a Navy sailor and an Air Force JAG. I wore my uniform with pride because I believe in service, duty, and country over self.
And I know that our military should be focused on readiness and safety instead of being used as a partisan tool.
What’s happening in our country lately isn’t right — and it won’t be solved by Trump yes-men like South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds.
