Dear Friend,

I am writing to invite all interested high school students and their families to attend my ROTC and Service Academy Day on Saturday, August 30, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Batavia Public Library at 10 S Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60510.

ROTC, Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, is a college program that prepares students to become officers in the U.S. military while they earn their degree. It’s offered by all five branches of the military.

A guest speaker from the U.S. Air Force Academy will present on behalf of all service academies.

To be considered for a nomination to a service academy, submit your application HERE. Applications are due October 30, 2025.
