This one hits close to home. 

Julio Cesar Aguirre, an illegal alien from Mexico with over 10 prior immigration arrests, tried to steal a truck in Tucson on June 30th. 

When the owner - 69-year-old Ricky Miller - resisted, Aguirre shot him and left him to die. 

Now here’s the truly insane part: 

• Federal prosecutors stepped in and filed capital charges against Aguirre - charges that could carry life in prison or even death. 

• But the Pima County Attorney, Laura Conover (a hard-left Democrat who promised to end capital punishment), publicly attacked federal prosecutors and accused them of “obstructing” her office. 

Translation: she’s upset because the feds might actually hold the murderer fully accountable.

This man entered our country illegally. 

-He’d been deported multiple times. 

-He was a prohibited possessor using a gun he never should have had. 

And now one of our own is dead. 

But Arizona Democrats want to protect him from “draconian punishments.” 

This is exactly why we launched our TARGET 50 campaign for August. 

50 patriots a day stepping up to help us expose and defeat this insanity — at the ballot box and in the courtroom.
