After spending the last eight months fighting in D.C., I've realized that the values of Washington and Ohio are worlds apart.

Chuck Schumer’s handpicked candidate, Sherrod Brown, is running for Senate—again. Now is our opportunity to show Chuck that we don’t want him or his allies representing Ohio, and we refuse to go backwards.

1974 was a pivotal year in politics.

I barely remember it as a seven-year-old, but it marked significant changes: Joe Biden became the youngest member elected to the Senate, Sherrod Brown, a recent Yale graduate, was elected in Ohio, and Chuck Schumer, who graduated from Harvard the same year as Brown, was elected in New York.

Do they really want to return to those “good old days”? Ohio knows better. We will not be subjected to the radical policies of California and New York anymore.

We refuse to go back to:

• Open borders

• Criminals roaming our cities without law enforcement to intervene

• $8 for a dozen eggs

• A Senator who votes with Bernie Sanders and Chuck Schumer 99% of the time

Brown claims to be for Ohio, but the truth is, he’s never left D.C. He is out of touch with the values that make our country great: faith, hard work, and the courage to fight for what’s right.

With your support, I know we can defend the values that make Ohio special and firmly tell Chuck to stay away.
