Our time in the barrel has come, John.
President Donald Trump said just hours ago that he will lead a "movement" to get rid of mail-in ballots and voting machines, falsely claiming that they lead to voter fraud.
Word for lying word: "I am going to lead a movement to get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS, and also, while we're at it, Highly 'Inaccurate,' Very Expensive, and Seriously Controversial VOTING MACHINES, which cost Ten Times more than accurate and sophisticated Watermark Paper, which is faster, and leaves NO DOUBT, at the end of the evening, as to who WON, and who LOST, the Election."
How is Trump going to do this? He's signing an executive order ahead of next year's critical midterms. Is this just another attempt to distract from a failing economy, rising prices, and his role in the Epstein scandal? Probably, yes. Are we going to fight him tooth and nail? You betcha.
We're going to work in the states to defend our access to cast ballots, as they run elections. We're going to petition members of Congress to stop harmful bills that might attempt to back up this executive order. And we're going to do everything we can to support the efforts to stop this in court.
We'll be blunt: We still need your help to protect our fundamental right to vote. Chip in with $25 or whatever you can today to defend vote by mail across the country >>
