On Monday, Donald Trump blocked hundreds of thousands of potential immigrants from seeking work in America.
According to the New York Times, Trump used an executive order to block visas “for a wide variety of jobs, including those for computer programmers and other skilled workers...as well as those for seasonal workers in the hospitality industry, students on work-study summer programs and au pairs who arrive under other auspices.”
There you have it: no matter your skill level, if you’re an immigrant, Donald Trump says you need not apply. It’s a backwards ruling that’s sure to please White House advisor and white supremacist Stephen Miller -- but that disgusts us, and it should disgust Americans everywhere.
