Polls look good, and that’s a trap

Even if you don’t live in Virginia, what happens in this November’s off year
elections will shape the national political map ahead of next year’s midterms.

Virginia is one of only two statewide elections in the entire country this year
— and it’s the biggest test either party will face before 2026. The outcome will
be read as a signal of which side has the momentum heading into the next fight
for Congress.

In 2021, every poll said Democrats had Virginia’s governor’s race locked up. We
let our guard down — and Glenn Youngkin stunned everyone as Republicans swept
statewide. That win became the GOP’s proof they could take blue territory, and
they’ve been using the same playbook across the country ever since.

Now, with Winsome Earle-Sears ready to take the baton, the stakes are even
higher. A Republican win here would fuel MAGA momentum nationwide. A Democratic
win would prove we can beat them anywhere — and set the tone for taking back
Congress and holding Donald Trump accountable.

Frontline Virginia is supporting Virginia Democrats by mobilizing grassroots
Democrats. Every dollar we raise goes to support recruiting volunteers, fighting
disinformation, and mobilizing voters in every corner of the Commonwealth.

We’re not taking anything for granted and neither can you. Please, donate to
help our movement today.

We can’t afford to let “in the bag” become another costly mistake.
