As the sun blazes on, please take extra care—look after your friends, neighbors, and those around you who may need a helping hand or a watchful eye during these hotter months. While many have taken a well-deserved respite from the rigors of political debate and involvement, I want to assure you that the Republican Party of Bexar County has remained engaged and active on your behalf. Our commitment to our shared values and community has not wavered, even as the city basks in this brief summer pause. Allow me to share a brief snapshot of our activities since the recent municipal elections: · Grassroots Mobilization and Precinct Recruitment: We have focused on effective precinct recruitment (a dozen or more will be ratified at the CEC meeting) and voter outreach strategies. Our volunteer base continues to grow, energized by your enthusiasm and commitment. · Community Outreach: Our growth as a Republican community is propelled not only by our passion but also by our ongoing collaboration with grassroots leaders and political experts, particularly on the southside of town. By actively recruiting candidates and participating in local events, we extend our reach, educate, and engage those seeking a conservative home. These efforts ensure our values resonate throughout Bexar County, fostering an inclusive and dynamic environment for all who share our vision. · Support for Candidates/Candidate Recruitment: As we prepare for this election cycle, we continue to recruit and support new conservative voices who are interested in serving our community. Our Political Activities Chair Terri Richardson is providing important resources as they prepare for future campaigns. You will hear more of these successes at the County Executive Committee Meeting (CEC) in September. · Voter Registration Drives: Our efforts to register new voters have been ongoing, with a particular emphasis on reaching young people and first-time participants in the democratic process. Chair Karen Marshall and her Committee have worked diligently to set up booths at community centers, college campuses, local churches, and neighborhood gatherings. These accessible locations have allowed us to directly connect with potential voters, answer their questions, and provide information about the importance of civic participation. · Charitable Initiatives: The party jumped into action for a Flood Relief Drive for Kerrville and surrounding areas with two large trucks of donations. There have also been School Supply drives for our local schools. We remain dedicated to serving all residents of Bexar County ensuring that Republican perspectives remain visible and accessible. As we look ahead, I urge you to stay engaged, connected, and ready to support the causes that matter to our great county, state, and nation. The work we do today lays the foundation for the victories and progress of tomorrow. With the November Texas Constitutional election on the horizon—and anticipation building for our 2026 Primary—we humbly ask for your continued support and engagement. Now is the time to strengthen our networks, share our message, and rally behind candidates and initiatives that reflect our shared values.
