While details continue to emerge from the recent summit between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, one thing is already clear: Putin outmaneuvered Trump once again leading to another embarrassing meeting. And now, another high stakes meeting looms with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The last time Zelenskyy met with Trump in Washington, it was nothing short of an ambush.

We all want peace. And peace is simple—it only requires Vladimir Putin to withdraw his forces from Ukraine and end his illegal invasion of a sovereign nation.  Despite what this Administration may believe, Ukraine is not the obstacle to peace, Putin is, plain and simple!

Country First and its members have stood with Ukraine from the very beginning of this war because we understand a simple truth: what America stands for abroad shapes who we are as a democracy at home. Appeasing authoritarian thugs abroad weakens our freedom at home.
