This throwback article needs to be seen again.
One of the first interviews I ever did with Selco was this one. (I believe it was right after his Christmas article.) Most weren't preppers and didn't have large stockpiles. The siege was so drastic that there were no shipments in. There wasn't power, there wasn't running water, and crime was rampant. You couldn't be outside gardening when snipers in the mountains might pick you off.
I wanted the nitty-gritty on what they ate and how they got their food. Because this went on for a year, so those who survived had to have eaten something.
This interview shows grit, resilience, the value of the elderly, and the importance of your state of mind.
