Congress—just confirmed what we already knew about the GOP’s so-called “One Big
Beautiful Bill” (OBBB): it’s a massive handout to the wealthy, paid for by
gutting lifesaving programs for the poorest Americans and piling hundreds of
billions onto our national debt.

Here’s the brutal truth:

* Top 10%: +$13,600 a year
* Middle class: +$800–$1,200
* Poorest 10%: –$1,200 a year from deep cuts to Medicaid and SNAP
* SNAP benefits: 2.4 million fewer people helped every month
* Debt impact: Billions more for our children and grandchildren to repay
This isn’t just bad policy—it’s calculated cruelty. The GOP is literally
taking food and health care from those who need it most to line the pockets of
the rich—and sending the bill to future generations.
