I’ll keep this brief, John -- I’m more worried than ever about holding on to our House majority in 2020 because of toss-up seats like Lucy McBath’s.

Republicans know Georgia’s 6th District is “in play.” That’s why the NRCC just reserved $1.5 million in TV ads for the Atlanta media market, and the huge Republican Super PAC CLF reserved another $1.45 million. That’s almost more money combined than Lucy raised in all of 2019! From two Super PACs! In June!

So, this is an extremely critical time for Lucy. This public campaign finance deadline on June 30th will show the media, the pundits, and national Republicans exactly how much Lucy has raised with just 4 months left until election day. Any sign of weakness, and Republicans are sure to spend even more to defeat Lucy.

So I’m asking: Will you step up before the end of the quarter and chip in any amount right now to help Lucy hold on to this toss-up seat?

If that wasn’t enough reason to donate to Lucy, she’s also up against the same opponent she faced in 2018, former Rep. Karen Handel.

Handel is a career politician with a record of being anti-Choice, anti-LGBTQ, pro-voter suppression, and will say anything to defeat Lucy. She almost beat her in 2018, when Lucy managed to win 50.5%-49.5%. Here’s the problem, President Trump won Georgia’s 6th District by 1.5% in 2016. This race is going to come down to the wire.

So I’m asking: Will you step up before Lucy’s FEC fundraising deadline at midnight on Tuesday and chip in any amount right now to help Lucy hold this seat?
