John, recent polling shows Donald Trump’s handling of the economy is extremely unpopular – and the number of Americans who blame him for the high cost of living is rising rapidly. Just take a look at the numbers from this Morning Consult/Century Foundation poll:

- 61% of of Americans said Trump has had a negative impact on their cost of living
- 83% of Americans are concerned about the price of groceries
- Nearly 80% of Americans fear Trump’s tariffs will increase the price of everyday goods
- And 64% worry about their ability to pay an unexpected medical expense if one should arise

Instead of addressing Americans’ concerns about the cost of living, Trump has:

- Ushered in the stock market’s WORST first 100 days of any president in over 50 years
- Levied the HIGHEST tariffs since the Great Depression
- FIRED the Bureau of Labor Statistics Commissioner after a weak jobs report was released
