DISPATCH FROM THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL: WEEK 10

Dear Friends:

This week, Antonio marched with hundreds of New Yorkers to protest a new gas pipeline that would run through New York. After an outrageous shakedown by the Trump Administration, Governor Hochul is considering approving this project. It would pollute our waters, exacerbate climate change, and lock our state into further dependence on fossil fuels for decades to come.

Antonio also attended a rally to call on the New York State Legislature to immediately return for a special session in Albany. New York is staring down the barrel of a crisis in the aftermath of the Republican budget bill, and Antonio is calling on the legislature to pass bills to protect the most vulnerable New Yorkers.

Below, you’ll find some other highlights from this week and details on upcoming events. Thanks for reading, and please keep an eye out for another update next week.

Yours in this fight,

Team Delgado

Antonio Delgado: Trump’s cruel budget cuts are hitting New Yorkers hard — and Governor Hochul still has no plan. While there are serious policy options on the table, she won’t consider making the ultra-wealthy or big corporations pay their fair share. As governor, I’ll fight back from day one and put everyday New Yorkers first.
Antonio Delgado: Hochul’s talks with Trump risk reviving pipelines that would cut through vulnerable communities across New York—threatening clean water, land, and local livelihoods.
Antonio Delgado: Delaying climate deadlines because of political convenience is a disservice to New Yorkers. We need bold action now—not calculations that protect incumbents over our planet.
