Imagine invading your own country because you’re on the Epstein list. 

That’s what Donald Trump is doing as you read this. 

Because the president won’t give you the facts, we will.

Violent crime in DC was down 32% last year.

Violent crime in DC is down another 12% this year. 

This is an unnecessary move that’s turning out to be a lot like Trump’s birthday military parade. Old beat up humvees, a bunch of troops standing around with nothing to do, and empty streets. 

This is America. This isn’t how we do things. There’s a reason this sort of thing hasn’t happened in DC since the War of 1812.

That being said, Trump is allowed to do this. He is allowed to call the National Guard to Washington (convenient how this slipped his mind on January 6th). But, he can only do this in DC. His plan to do this in Chicago and New York? Like most of his other bad ideas, that’s illegal.

What we’re witnessing here is Donald Trump attempting to become a dictator. He’s openly telling us he’s going to evade the Constitution. He’s actively taking over local police departments. He’s trying his absolute hardest to exert his power over the United States. No checks and balances, no states rights, just Donald Trump and his cabinet of idiots.

We’re not going to stand for this. We don’t care if he threatens us with a lawsuit. We don’t care if he sends his cult after us. We don’t care if he starts some bogus investigation. We will do whatever it takes to stop the biggest threat our democracy has ever faced.
