We hope you and your family are safe and well. Since it has been a while, we wanted to give you a campaign update. Jahana has been laser-focused on her official work and leading from the front in both the COVID-19 response and the conversations related to race and justice across our nation.

But on the campaign side, we cannot ignore the fact that there is an election coming up.

If these past few months have shown us anything, it is that representation matters.

Vulnerable communities are bearing the brunt of both a global pandemic AND the resulting economic crisis. Those very same communities are now at the forefront of the conversations around racial justice, accountability, and equality.

The COVID-19 crisis exposed the cracks and vulnerabilities in our society and infrastructure. We need leaders who are committed to moving towards solutions, so we can heal and build systems that work for ALL people.

John, we put this campaign on the back burner while Jahana fought in Washington for all people here in Connecticut’s 5th District. Now we need to re-mobilize and make sure we make it over the finish line.
