LATEST INDEPENDENT POLL: Elise is Closing the Gap on Kathy Hochul, The Worst
Governor in America!


Team Elise Executive Director Alex DeGrasse stated –


“The latest Siena poll is catastrophic for Kathy Hochul as she is losing
independent voters to Elise Stefanik, is below 50% on the ballot, and only 35%
of voters want to re-elect Kathy Hochul as voters are increasingly looking to
Elise Stefanik to deliver new leadership.

Chairwoman Elise Stefanik will continue to focus on providing results such as
delivering the largest middle class tax cut in New York history. She will
repeal Kathy Hochul’s failed bail reform and dangerous sanctuary cities
policies and cut taxes for New Yorkers.”

Elise Calls for Kathy Hochul to Come Clean on Prison Strikes


Elise stated –


“Kathy Hochul has turned her back on law enforcement officers again and again
especially our hardworking correctional officers. In a scathing report that
blasts the Worst Governor in America for putting the rights of violent inmates
over law enforcement, the union representing Correction Officers stated they
warned Kathy Hochul before their strike that prisons were a dangerous powder
keg, a strike was imminent, and that lives of officers were at risk.

Hochul did nothing. The Worst Governor in America took no action and instead
chose to destroy the lives of correctional officers and their families.

Strikes commenced across the state, wreaking havoc in prisons. Hochul
callously fired an estimated 2,000 Correction Officers throughout the three
week strike she knew was going to happen.

The lives of thousands of New York National Guard reservists were put at risk
when Hochul forced them to guard inmates with no training. The State pegged
staggering strike costs at $100 million per month. Prison strikes could have
been avoided. Kathy Hochul ignored the warning signs out of incompetence or
indifference to law enforcement.

The Worst Governor in America must be held accountable. Kathy Hochul must
immediately address NYSCOBA’s report: what did she know, when did she know it,
and why did she refuse to act?”

Elise stated –


“You ask any New Yorker: Republican, Democrat, Independent. They will all
tell you, New York has become less safe because of the single-party, Democrat
rule that is double and tripling down on failed bail reform. This is a policy
that prioritizes criminals over law-abiding New Yorkers. You talk to anyone in
law enforcement, our county sheriffs, our troopers, our DAs. We're dealing with
repeat offenders over and over again, and these are violent criminals who are
being let into the streets.

I've been the leader at the national level in terms of raising awareness
nationally of the security challenges on our northern border. We need more
Border Patrol. We need more personnel and resources on our northern border. And
did you know that if you look at the individuals on the terrorist watch list,
the number one sector where those illegal crossings cross is in the Swanton
Sector, which is the region, as you know, from Buffalo to my District. So this
is a crisis, and yet Kathy Hochul is prioritizing illegals.

We are going to step in and fix this crime crisis for her because she has
failed at this job. It's why Democrat polling continues to be in free fall.
It's why she is known as the worst governor in America.”


David Bellavia stated –


“Elise Stefanik is closing on Kathy Hochul. She's a congresswoman in the New
York 21st District. She knows the issues. She's super aggressive on these
issues. She's got her facts, she's unafraid, she's unapologetic, and she's
absolutely a barracuda in a debate. And this is something Kathy Hochul has not
had before.”
