we're proud to share some big news:

SEIU, the nation’s largest healthcare workers’ union that represents
thousands of frontline health care and essential service workers, has
officially endorsed Deb Haaland for Governor of New Mexico!

CIR/SEIU members are the backbone of New Mexico’s hospitals, clinics, and
other essential services. Every day, they deliver babies, tend to
emergencies, and keep New Mexicans healthy — often under enormous strain.

And with Trump’s Medicaid cuts threatening to shut down up to eight
hospitals in New Mexico, we need a governor who will fight to protect care
for every family.

That’s why Deb laid out a clear and urgent plan to:

👉 Protect Medicaid coverage

👉 Bring and keep more doctors and nurses to the state

👉 Increase mobile health clinics in rural areas

👉 Add more healthcare navigators to help cut through red tape

We’re proud of the movement we’re building, and SEIU’s endorsement is
