Donald Trump wants you to think that mass deportations will make us safer — but it doesn’t. And Donald knows it.

Here’s the truth:

• Undocumented immigrants are less likely to commit crimes than U.S. citizens.
• When they do, they’re often deported before trial, meaning no jail time — and no justice.
• And when undocumented people are victims or witnesses, they’re afraid to come forward — leaving violent criminals free to keep hurting others.

This is why I’m sounding the alarm: Trump’s mass deportation agenda is not about safety. It’s about fear. And it will make our communities less safe, not more.
