I won both my elections for Governor in years that Donald Trump carried the state. It wasn’t easy, but with a groundswell of grassroots enthusiasm, we prevailed.
In the last few weeks, we’ve begun building out a team that can win here again — this time for a seat in the United States Senate. We have a plan that we know can provide Democrats with success here in NC. And it’s only been possible through your support.
Statewide elections here are competitive and expensive. Republicans are already planning to spend hundreds of millions against us because they know this seat is the key to the Senate majority.
But as we begin sharing our message with North Carolinians — a message rooted in respect for the values we share and the fundamental rights we’ve spent so long fighting for — I am confident that we’ll be able to bring voters onto our team.
