SW District Baseball Game
Last night was our 2nd annual SW District Springfield Cardinals Baseball game event at Faith and Family night. Thirty eight of our churches were represented and around 900 people attended. We were spread out in 3 different sections because of our high attendance.
Aiden Wakefield form Marshfield UMC got to throw out a first pitch and I had the honor and privilege of singing the National Anthem before the game. Following the game was a concert by Christian artist Austin French and then a fireworks display.
Thank you to everyone that helped with passing out tickets before the game, and to everyone that braved the heat to be with us.
It was a great night for all!

Conference Finance and Administrative Ministries staff is hitting the road this fall to share information about the new Compass Retirement Plan and updates to clergy health benefits. 2025 Charge Conferences & People Portal
Pastors, church admins and key church leadership persons should have received access to the new People Portal in an email last Monday. You will each have your own specific login to the portal. The Missouri Conference People Portal is a new password-protected space where essential forms will be delivered. The People Portal is similar to what a clinic’s patients might use to view their own medical records, find their next appointment or pay their doctor’s bill.
New in 2025, charge conference forms will only be available in the People Portal.
