Hey John,

There are only two weeks left of our Young Leaders for Climate Action (YLCA) Summer Sustainability Series, a bimonthly climate activist training series for youth.

During the fight for Clean Energy Jobs, youth were some of the most vocal supporters of climate action. Oregon’s young people know that their future health and happiness depends on the actions that we take today. Our Summer Sustainability Series is designed to further inform and empower young people to take action in their communities, while also creating a space for youth to come together, make new friends, and share ideas.

Young Leaders for Climate Action Summer Sustainability Series

We also hope you'll consider supporting our youth organizing by donating here

Each meeting of our Seminar Series has focused on a different topic, ranging from local Oregon politics to federal climate policy. The final two seminars will be covering:
  • 8/29 - Theory of change and the Importance of Social Movements
  • 9/5 - Pricing Pollution, Investing in solutions, and the Green New Deal ** Senator Michael Dembrow will be joining us**
If you have any questions, feel free to email me at [email protected].

Staying in touch via the Oregon League of Conservation Voters’ email list is the best way we have of keeping in regular contact with supporters like you and letting you know about the ways you can take action to protect the environment. You can unsubscribe from our supporter list, but if you leave, it will be harder for you to stay involved with OLCV and continue the work that you’ve been such a critical part of. OLCV wins environmental policy fights and elections because of dedicated activists like you, and we’d hate to see you go.
